CLIENT: Glocap is a dynamic and well-capitalized, multi-channel brand operating within the beverage sector.

ROLE: Glocap is in search of a Finance Strategy Lead. This position will report directly to the CFO and will involve close collaboration with various teams throughout the organization, including the CEO and investor community. The Finance team is dedicated to leveraging data, analytical insights, and business acumen to support the Company and its leadership in making informed financial choices. As part of a compact team, this role will entail significant responsibility and visibility to senior leadership, necessitating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and oversee forecasting models for weekly, monthly, and annual planning cycles. You should be proficient in constructing a comprehensive operating model from scratch.
  • Development of KPIs: Utilize insights to pinpoint financial and operational drivers, establishing KPIs that management can employ to effectively steer the business. Maintain a high standard of data integrity across all company domains.
  • Reporting: Collaborate with departmental leaders to create and sustain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, including variance analysis against previous periods, plans, and forecasts. Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to integrate historical data and produce automated reports that emphasize KPIs.
  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Provide data-driven analyses to senior management and the Board of Directors to support the Company's strategic objectives, both short-term and long-term. Prepare financial models, analyses, and presentations for use in the Company’s fundraising efforts. Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process.
  • Communication: Develop presentations that clearly convey findings, recommendations, and actionable next steps, ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an analyst role at an investment bank, consulting firm, or investment fund, or demonstrate mastery of the relevant skills acquired in those environments.
  • Experience in finance, operations, accounting, or strategy within a consumer goods company focused on direct-to-consumer sales.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling presentations and convey information effectively to peers and executives.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, with the capability to extract data, analyze it, draw conclusions, and present it logically.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and general financial principles, particularly regarding inventory management. Ability to construct, interpret, and analyze various financial reports utilizing diverse data sources.

COMPENSATION: The Finance Strategy Lead position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000, along with bonus opportunities, equity participation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
