Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive financial guidance to support daily operations. This role involves collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to deliver insightful analysis and reporting that drives superior commercial results. Additionally, the role includes the maintenance of robust operational and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary finance business partner for the Marketing division.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor actual expenditures, and assess forecasts for remaining spending.
- Ensure accurate accounting of planned Advertising & Promotional expenditures.
- Oversee the evaluation process, conducting in-depth analyses of marketing spend effectiveness.
- Provide detailed assessments of brands within the portfolio, including risk evaluations, opportunities, and investment recommendations.
- Assist the Commercial Finance Manager in preparing budgets and forecasts to ensure the delivery of solid financial plans for the Asia-Pacific region and the broader group.
- Participate in significant strategic projects and initiatives, both globally and locally, aimed at enhancing value and efficiency across the organization.
- Deliver financial support and ad hoc analyses for the Senior Leadership Team and the Asia-Pacific regional team as needed, focusing on facilitating the leadership agenda.
Qualifications and Skills
- CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the FMCG sector as a commercial analyst.
- Ideal candidates may have transitioned from big-4 or mid-tier firms with 1 to 2 years of industry experience, though this is not a strict requirement.
- Proven business partnering capabilities with a strong ability to influence.
- A commercial mindset coupled with a desire for continuous learning and professional development.
