Job Title : Vendor Management Specialist

Description
  • This position provides support for the Vendor Management Office (VMO) and is accountable for executing vendor contract tracking and accountability standards.
  • The position will help coordinate contract management, negotiation, follow-up on compliance items, and track vendor service level agreements (SLAs) and accounting.
  • The Vendor Management Analyst manages Vera's vendor contracts, negotiating new contracts,amendments, renewals, and monitoring vendor SLAs, as well as measuring vendor
    performance/behaviors to ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Additionally, as part of the VMO, the Vendor Management Analyst tracks vendor spend, and performs spend analysis to measure contract value, savings achieved, or savings lost.
  • The Vendor Management Analyst assists with contract lifecycle management from contract award through contract expiration or termination, including regular compliance reviews of vendor 3 rd party certifications, and annual risk questionnaires.
  • For new products or services, they will work with the VMO, Supply-Chain, and business owners to conduct RFP/RFI's as appropriate and manage any service transitions as new vendors are on-boarded.
Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage the with business owners and Vera Vendor Managers and other internal stakeholders with frequent communication to alignment on Vera's vendor management tools and processes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Vendor Managers and the business owners on vendor issue management, contract renewals, and compliance.
  • Develop relationships to gather, organize and keep current vendor performance metrics, ERM
    associated risks, and to develop value creation (cost savings), from various internal Vera entities, and vendor representatives.
  • Coordinate strategic vendor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's), record and distribute minutes.
  • Responsible for supporting vendor contracts, either directly or with Vera Vendor Managers,
    monitoring costs and evaluating opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the business owners and Vera Vendor Managers and Supply Chain to ensurethat sourcing, vendor events/evaluations, and Request for Price (RFP's) quotes are managed in accordance with Vera standards and best practices, focusing on value creation and cost savings while delivering accurate services and products in support of exceptional patient care.
  • Accountable for creating and maintaining vendor Service Level Agreement (SLA) tracking and regularly reporting in scorecards and dashboards.
  • Responsible for maintaining training to assist Vera Vendor Managers regarding contract management, SLA scoring, metrics, and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for oversight, tracking, escalation of vendor issues across Vera, including cost variances, service variances, and potential other risks.
