Position Overview

As an IT Project Management Specialist at TEL, you will be instrumental in steering and executing intricate IT infrastructure projects. Your role will involve collaboration with diverse teams, management of project timelines, and ensuring the effective delivery of IT solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Development and Management:
    • Create comprehensive project plans detailing scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource distribution.
    • Coordinate project tasks to align with organizational objectives and technical specifications from initiation to completion.
    • Track progress, identify potential risks, and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Communication with Stakeholders:
    • Serve as a communication bridge between IT, sales, system engineering, product development, and other departments.
    • Provide updates on project status, challenges, and progress to stakeholders through tracking systems.
    • Organize regular project meetings and maintain clear documentation.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Work alongside IT teams to design and implement solutions that enhance IT requests and software efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and security measures.
    • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is advantageous.
    • Experience in IT Facilities Project Management or Software Security Project Management is a plus.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Effectively manage resources to meet project deadlines.
    • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
    • Oversee project budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish and uphold quality benchmarks for IT deliverables.
    • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of software and hardware solutions.
    • Ensure the security of our solutions and address vulnerabilities promptly.
    • Resolve issues swiftly to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Change Management:
    • Implement change control processes to minimize disruptions.
    • Guide teams through transitions and facilitate the adoption of new technologies.
    • Proactively manage scope changes to adhere to schedules and budget constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
    • Share best practices with fellow IT project managers across the organization.
    • Experience in coaching or training other project managers is beneficial.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in IT or Software Development.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Workday, Jira, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
