Role Responsibilities:

The Events Specialist will be tasked with the planning, execution, and reconciliation of conferences within the Neuromodulation division. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with major organizations to explore sponsorship opportunities.
  • Developing and monitoring a budget tracker in alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitating regular planning meetings with cross-functional teams, including marketing and clinical partners.
  • Overseeing pre-event preparations, including venue reservations and catering orders.
  • Creating registration sites using CVENT software for event attendees.
  • Managing on-site logistics, including setup and material shipments.
  • Reconciling corporate card expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Leading the Convention and Events team, providing training and support to colleagues.
  • Coordinating logistics for conventions, including booth arrangements and communication with vendors.
  • Conducting post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness of events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Hospitality, Marketing, or Communications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing event logistics and vendor relationships.
  • Proven project management skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Experience in budget management across multiple vendors and cost centers.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet and database management.
  • Familiarity with event management software and tools.
