Overview:

Salary range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Holland is seeking a detail oriented individual, looking to continue to grow their career in Accounts Receivable and join our dedicated Accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for maintaining/auditing all cash transactions and A/R related reporting. This individual reconciles tenant ledgers, collection reports and back accounts each month and performs all duties in accordance with Holland Partner Groups Core Values. The Accounts Receivable Associate works under direct supervision with limited decision-making authority.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile daily cash activity between bank reports and accounting system.
  • Record, post and deposit payments received at corporate office.
  • Manage A/R help desk tickets.
  • Manage payment integration dashboard alerts for electronic payments.
  • Reconcile tenant ledger and collection reports and finalize necessary write-offs.
  • Reconcile outstanding items on bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile all Security Deposit Liability accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Complete month-end accounting close process.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all associates.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.


Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree in Accounting, preferred.

Experience: One year of combined experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting or Property Management required. On-site property management experience preferred. Education may be considered in lieu of experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in Yardi software preferred.
  • Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.

Attendance: This full-time position requires regular and punctual attendance compliant with the schedule set to meet company needs. Additional hours or overtime may be required.

This position also requires:

  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
