Accounting and Financial Operations Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting and Financial Operations professional to join our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing accounting, finance, and administrative support to our Director of Finance and Administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including inputting invoices and preparing biweekly check runs
  • Reconcile monthly expense accounts and draft year-to-date club programs and operations statements
  • Collect and prepare weekly deposits from club operations and collaborate on weekly MyClubHub membership receipting
  • Review and reconcile monthly club membership activity and ensure proper cash handling procedures
  • Prepare and file payroll twice monthly and analyze payroll data using PayCom metrics
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Solid written communication skills and strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurability
Benefits:
  • $24.50 per hour
  • Full-time hourly, non-exempt
  • 3 weeks of paid time off and 12 holidays per year
