Global Rental,  a division of  Altec,  is currently looking for a  Titling and Licensing Coordinator  in  Birmingham, AL. 


Altec specializes in the manufacture, sale and service of aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes and specialty equipment for the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, construction, and light and sign maintenance industries in more than 120 countries throughout the world. Global Rental offers rental equipment, units for sale and access to our “Storm Fleet,” providing access to our equipment when our customers need it most. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepares all sales documentation for sold vehicles (Bill of Sale, Warranty Exclusion, Limited Warranty documentation)
  • Files all vehicle purchase documentation to be scanned in Papervision.
  • Corresponds and provides administrative support to customers, sales personnel, and third party partners concerning titling vehicles
  • Fills out OEM chassis warranty documentation
  • Processes all supplier invoicing daily
  • Audit title records and documentation inventory daily
  • Monitors customer payment status
  • Troubleshoot more complex state titling and tax requirements
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or GED with three years of administrative experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and accepted in lieu of experience
  • Customer service or sales related experience preferred
  • Title or registration experience preferred
  • PC Skills using spreadsheets, word processing, and other office management applications required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of electrical utility industry preferred
  • Must have good time management skills to manage tasks
  • Demonstrated customer and people skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Current valid Driver’s License
