Position: Call Center Customer Service Assistant Location: Austin, TX Department: Customer Service Reports To: Call Center Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Call Center Customer Service Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service and resolving inquiries efficiently and effectively. You will handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that customer issues are addressed promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Handle incoming calls from customers, providing assistance with inquiries, complaints, and technical support. Problem Resolution: Resolve customer issues by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue. Data Entry: Accurately document all customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to ensure that customers’ issues are resolved to their satisfaction. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues and improve service quality. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including data protection and privacy regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or related fields is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to handle difficult customers with patience and professionalism.
