Job Summary:

The Provider Relations Specialist position is a full-time hybrid role that is provider facing. This individual is responsible for the overall experience of providers, while also negotiating agreements with highly visible providers. Additionally, the Network Operations Specialist will collaborate with other departments to optimize the providers' experience and overall efficiency of the Health Plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for end-to-end provider experience and overall delivery
  • Fulfill Gap Closures and satisfy Adequacy Measures
  • Negotiate and Re-Negotiate Agreements
  • Conduct New Provider Orientations for newly onboarded providers
  • Submit Single Case Agreements when applicable
  • Track and Trend provider targets
  • Collaborate with all departments for any contractual needs or educational purposes
  • Responsible for capturing, documenting, and sharing market intelligence; drive strategic initiatives
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, translate and distribute provider informatics, reports, dashboards
  • Track and monitor performance
  • Deliver presentations to existing and prospective partners and providers
  • Complete regularly scheduled site visits and audits
  • Works with staff to resolve issues or complaints identified
  • Acts as a liaison between departments to ensure overall provider satisfaction
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience (2-5 years)
  • 2+ years of experience in Provider Relations, Contracting, and/or Healthcare
  • Demonstrated excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to use PC software and multiple systems
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to travel required (20-50%)
