Accounting Manager

About Us: We are a stable, local manufacturing company based in Vancouver, WA, dedicated to delivering high-quality products. We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee our finance team and ensure accurate financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all sales tax returns.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with sales tax reporting strongly preferred.
