What will you do?

Oversee the month-end close cycle for assigned corporate entities by executing and coordinating staff activities to produce timely financial statements, analyses, and reconciliations. Review the quarterly dealership reserve calculations, including reconditioning reserve, finance reserve, and service contract cancellation reserve, among others. Lead annual budgeting, long-term forecasting, and budget-to-actual analyses, among other forecasting projects, for assigned corporate entities throughout the year. Collaborate with the Global Treasury team to ensure accurate financial statement presentation and disclosure of debt agreements. Prepare the ongoing forecasting of debt covenants, ensuring compliance with lender agreements and modeling potential transactions as directed by the Corporate Controller. Prepare the quarterly dealership working capital analyses and rebalance calculations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Operations, and Parent Company Corporate Accounting, to ensure seamless integration of lease data, transactions, and disclosures. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Corporate Accounting department. Facilitate wires and other treasury functions. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

What are we looking for?

CPA License required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Onestream CPM, CDK, or Oracle Hyperion a plus. 5+ years’ experience, including 2+ at a supervisory level. Public accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and external reporting. Automotive retail experience a plus. Experience developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to established quality and timeliness of deliverables Extensive knowledge of department processes and contributes to the development of vision and strategy within the department Adapts area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems Adjusts quickly to new or changing work environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong supervisory and leadership skills Applies management expertise to set direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to employees in own area of responsibility or department Manages team projects and project plans through execution Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning resources; may manage allocated budget Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and department or business plan; receives guidance from manager Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, counseling, negotiation, and customer service skills Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions Strong presentation skills Effectively coaches, gives performance feedback and provides development opportunities within own area of responsibility or department Interaction with others requires understanding, influencing and supporting people, through applying technical knowledge or rational arguments, aimed at causing action or acceptance by others

Compensation starting around $130,000.00 depending on experience.
