The Role (24-month contract, located in Muswellbrook, Northern Hunter Valley, NSW) The Contract Administrator (CA) reports to the Commercial and Contracts Manager. Responsible for all aspects of contract management for projects in delivery, including preparation of variations, extensions of time, payment claims and ensuring compliance with the head contract. Responsible for managing subcontractors, including assessing and processing claims, variations, extensions of time and other contractual notices. Provides commercial support for contract reviews (upstream and downstream) and negotiating commercial departures. Provides commercial and contractual advice to the Project Manager and project team. Contracts Administrator , you will be expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail and with a passion to grow with the business. You will have the following to bring to the role: 5 years’ experience in a commercial or contracts position (Energy/Construction industry experience is viewed favourably) Sound understanding of construction contracts and contract management processes Strong commercial acumen Qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Business or equivalent experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills A current driver's licence A demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively organise and prioritise demands Possess the skills to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
