Impact Summary:

We are seeking a mid-level Contracts Administrator to support our next phase of growth. This position will report directly to the Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate is looking for a fast-paced environment where they will need to have the ability to adapt to multiple deadlines and tasks, prioritizing as needed. Position requires the ability to interact with management and leadership, as well as maintaining strong government and industry client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract administration throughout pre-award, award, and post-award phases, including procurement and pricing functions.
  • Draft and manage subcontracts, task orders, change orders, purchase orders, correspondence, and contract modifications.
  • Negotiate contracts, maintain contract files, and oversee contract close-out, interacting with program managers and external customers.
  • Monitor and forecast funding requirements for contracts and subcontracts.
  • Prepare pricing proposals and necessary documentation for prime contract and subcontract quotes/proposals.
  • Draft and review team agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and proprietary information agreements.
  • Provide direct support to the Contracts Manager, including financial status reporting and invoice drafting.
  • Coordinate with program and project management teams to ensure contract deadlines and requirements are met.

Competencies

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills, and strong oral and written communication abilities, including technical writing proficiency.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Tools and knowledge of contract law, including familiarity with federal regulations (FAR/DFARs).
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and senior management, demonstrating strong negotiation and administration skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in contract negotiation, administration, and government cost accounting.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in a related field (business, law, finance) or an additional four (4) years of related experience in lieu of a bachelors degree, plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of combined progressive experience in DoD contracts, procurement, and financial administration/management, with working knowledge of FAR/DFARs and other procurement-related regulations.
  • Experience with Federal Government contract administration involving various contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, TandM, IDIQ Task/Delivery Order) from contract award to closeout.
  • Costpoint experience desired, and government cost accounting experience is a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
