About the Role

The Senior Contract Manager is a key member of the NTT Data team, responsible for providing legal support and contract administration functions to ensure the smooth operation of the Legal Department. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in contract management, with a focus on tracking deliverables, reviewing and editing agreements, and managing contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external clients to fulfill sales agreements, vendor service agreements, renewals, and other agreements.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills, capabilities, and professional growth.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality guidance and direction to the legal team and other business teams on complex non-standard deals, deal strategy, and internal approval and deal processes.
  • Guide negotiations with customers and work with sales to explain NTT's contracting structure and terms and conditions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal collaborators to understand their evolving needs, preferences, and challenges.
  • Diagnose and resolve critical issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Manage Contract Lifecycle Management software and review incoming contracts for conformity with existing policies and procedures.
  • Compose and prepare legal correspondence, gather and prepare information for meetings, and assist the legal team in updating and revising significant contracts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of ten years progressive contract manager/contract analysis experience, including approvals, structuring, negotiating, and drafting of complex contracts.
  • Professional certification in contract management (e.g., NCMA, IACCM) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Excellent proficiency with computers, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and DocuSign, with experience with Salesforce and contract management software a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the company and external vendors, clients, and outside counsel.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a highly collaborative team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under deadline pressure.
