As we navigate a pivotal time for civic involvement, we recognize the importance of clear communication and effective organization. Our organization serves as a vital resource for artists and influencers, equipping them with the necessary tools to foster voter engagement and participation.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and adept at managing a variety of administrative responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel logistics.
- Communication Management: Oversee incoming and outgoing communications, including drafting and editing documents, and taking detailed notes during meetings.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events, managing logistics, preparing materials, and supporting overall event production.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate record-keeping and database maintenance, assisting with data entry, tracking, and reporting related to various projects.
- Program Support: Provide administrative assistance for ongoing initiatives, including logistics and communication with partners and stakeholders.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Undertake additional administrative duties and special projects as directed by the executive team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support capacity. Experience in civic engagement, political organizing, or the entertainment industry is advantageous.
- Proficient in drafting clear and concise documents and communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism when interacting with high-profile individuals.
- Solutions-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to shifting priorities and managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, Zoom, and Slack.
