Expectations and stimulating challenges :
OPAL-RT is looking for an ambitious business development professional who will contribute to the company's success. The candidate will be responsible for seeking out new markets and new customers in the Western United States. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English, good organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic work team.
This is an excellent position for someone who is able to take initiative and is looking for a challenge.
This position includes travelling to clients' sites in California up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze, identify and implement strategies for developing new business opportunities;
- Prospect/cold calling towards new targeted customers;
- Develop and maintain business relationships with existing clients;
- Participate in conferences, tradeshows, trade fairs;
- Creation of technical-commercial proposal with high added value
- Presentation & demonstration of products and services
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
- Experience: around 5 years of experience in business development with emphasis on developing new clients and markets.
- Knowledge: knowledge in the field of high technology, engineering; Complete management of the sales cycle (prospecting, cold calling, meeting requirements, closing); account management and growth; presentation; creation of technical-commercial proposal;
- Language abilities: Fluency in English;
- Soft skills: excellent relational skills, adaptability, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, autonomy, rigor and determination.
- Ideal profile: A professional with a very high level of rigor, determination and autonomy; social and strong interest in business; loves technology; likes pressure and independence, results-oriented.
- Significant assets: Knowledge of the field of real-time simulation or power systems; basic knowledge of the following tools: WebEx, Exact Target, proficiency in MS Office, CRM;
