Business Development Representative

NRS is an evergreen holding company of highly successful niche B2B software businesses. We acquire small vertical and horizontal market leaders, typically with $5-50 million in revenue, to help them grow and preserve their legacy.
After 300+ investments over a 25-year period, our team has developed a world class approach to investments and operations that accelerates growth and improves company productivity. Now we are leveraging that experience in an evergreen investment model where we can acquire companies without ever having to sell them. That makes us ideal stewards to acquire, build, and support founder backed businesses.
Our relationships, proactive outreach, and deep domain expertise across relevant core sectors have allowed us to generate the majority of our investments directly outside of banker led auctions. This commitment increases our access to investments and provides a longer and deeper diligence period. We are looking for two Business Development Representatives to join the team. Working closely with senior management, BDRs will develop go to market plans to identify leading companies, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and help manage the deal process to completion.
Specific responsibilities:
· Develop market maps for target segments
· Research, identify and researching companies
· Gather information from customer and competitor data
· Track and report on the status of leads
· Develop and maintain client relationships
· Make and give presentations to senior executives at target companies
· Coordinate with senior investment professionals to develop investment proposals
· Create and implement processes to support the overall business
What do BDRs gain from the experience?

· Build domain knowledge in SaaS that you can leverage throughout your career
· Gain exposure to best operational practices from R&D through Sales
· Learn about private equity firms and their approach to investments
Minimum Requirements:
· Undergraduate degree from a Top 20 school
· 2-4 years of experience in B2B software business development and/or sales
