This Manager, Property Accounting should have at least 7 years of commercial real estate accounting experience. While this person will oversee a team (10-12), they should have hands on experience preparing property level financial statements CAM recs, financial reports, operating budgets, variance reports, etc. A successful candidate will have proven success, be self motivated, forward thinking and passionate about the work they do. Being a strong leader where you can continue to mentor your staff members is key. We are looking for someone who leads by example and who is able to mentor their team up
This position offers a excellent base salary, plus bonus and generous benefits package. The company places heavy emphasis on being dynamic, team oriented and provided a stable and professional working environment. They offer a fantastic base salary + bonus + 401K with a 5% match, excellent PTO package and a gym membership
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA designation.
Must have strong accounting skills with in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and real estate accounting.
Must have strong leadership and supervisory skills; able to mentor staff for future growth and provide results under tight deadlines
Must have strong communication skills and possess the ability to develop strong relationships with Senior Management including Asset Management, Leasing, Investments and Tax.
