In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with and partnering with health plans in two key market areas:

the Medicare Advantage market , and the

Medicare Supplement market.

You will use technology to identify new connections and foster strategic relationships and partnerships to build a continuous success pipeline. By asking smart, insightful questions, you will discover how we can add value and impact growth across our industry. Exercising patience is critical with the long contract cycle, but persistence pays off since your commissions won't be capped. Responsibilities Work with your leader to define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth and secure new contracts across self-funded health plans, retiree groups, and unions; Establish weekly goals and targets with your leader and report on targets weekly and ensure targets are met Sell direct to key C-suite and key personnel at large employers via phone, email, social media, and conferences Responsible for prospecting new business, initiating contact, leading RFPs and formal proposals, presenting, overseeing negotiations, and coordinating the decision-making process Work closely with other corporate departments such as Sales Operations, Legal, Operations, Credentialing, Billing, and IT to ensure hassle-free business development for new accounts Timely participation and completion of training and administrative responsibilities: learning our core story, presentation practice, completion of travel/expense reports, leading team meetings and other assigned requirements Qualifications, Skills & Experience

A bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience 10 years' experience in business development and outside sales 10+ years' health care/insurance experience (candidates without this experience will not be considered) Knowledge of hearing aids/hearing market preferred (but not required) Demonstrated ability to build relationships with heavily-matrixed organizations such as health plans Displayed ability to build and leverage relationships with other vendors that may make strong partnerships for the organization Ability to manage positive work relationships with a wide range of associates and skill levels, both external and internal Proficiency presenting to senior executives and key-decision makers Required proficiency with tools (Add tools based on position requirements):

Expertise with CRM Software (Salesforce preferred) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams presentations, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Physical/Mental Demands:
