Your Role on Our Team Exciting Opportunity as Director of Asset Protection, for Techtronic Industries' (TTI). Techtronic Industries' (TTI) Logistics Network is seeking an experienced and dedicated Asset Protection Director with expertise leading or supporting Security Programs in operations to join our team. As the Director of Asset Protection, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of security risk management, and compliance within our logistics network. You’ll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties And Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive asset protection strategies, programs, and policies across our logistics network to minimize risk, ensure compliance with company standards and mitigate potential threats. Provide guidance to business leaders on issues related to asset protection, compliance, and security within the Logistics network. Lead a team in the consistent execution of the company's asset protection practices, systems, and personnel-related activities by auditing asset protection practices. Direct compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures by keeping current on laws and regulations related to general compliance practices, as well as permitted regulations. Achieve network-level shrink reduction goals by implementing, prioritizing, and driving strategies, initiatives, and trainings (for example, theft prevention, security, criminal deterrence, investigations). Ensure partner facilities in the network are prepared for crises by building and sustaining trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances with government and non-governmental agencies. Being a trusted advisor: Develop and have strong and trusting relationships - as an Asset Protection leader working to solve issues, address pain points and implement strategies which increase overall security and compliance of the organization. Oversee asset protection business performance: Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting performance metrics and implement corrective actions. Produce compelling presentations: Develop and deliver clear, cohesive, and skillful communication regarding security and compliance. Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with logistics business partners to deliver best-in-class Asset Protection solutions. Work autonomously: You will be responsible for management of the above and action with limited oversight. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: The TOOLS You’ll Bring With You • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement area of practice, Business, Supply Chain, or related area preferred and a minimum of 4 years' experience in law enforcement, asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area. • Or, 10 plus years' experience in Law Enforcement, Asset Protection, Environmental Health and safety, program management, or related area. Other TOOLS, We Prefer You to Have • Experience in leading Asset Protection/Environmental, Health & Safety programs for logistics/manufacturing facilities. • 10 plus years in Law Enforcement or Asset Protection related role. • Expertise in Process Improvement Methods, Hazard Risk Assessments, Regulatory Contact/Inspection/Response. Working Conditions • Operational Setting such as rail yards, terminals, ports, distribution centers, manufacturing sites & office spaces. • Travel requirements as necessary to fulfill role and can require travel up to 50% – 75% of the time.
