In this capacity, you will oversee digital asset management (DAM), ensuring proper organization and uploading of all assets into the DAM system. You will also be tasked with maintaining creative asset workflow protocols and identifying and managing new process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency using Digital Asset Management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage access rights and permissions within the Digital Asset Management system for all users.
  • Deliver weekly updates to all users of the DAM system, highlighting new uploads and basic usage statistics.
  • Acquire, label, add keywords/metadata, and appropriately archive photography within the DAM.
  • Adhere to internal controls and retention policies as established by the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with photo-shoot and retouching teams to ensure consistency from capture to final file upload.
  • Coordinate image assets for both print and digital creative projects, ensuring all stakeholder expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain direct communication with Art Directors and the Creative team to effectively relay feedback and updates throughout the retouching project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in project and DAM management.
  • Knowledge of the retouching process and a background in creative production is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with retouching vendors and creative teams.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting image files prior to vendor release.
  • Vendor management skills, including quality control and price negotiations.
