Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic goals and programs that align with our organizational objectives, ensuring the effective management of facilities, validation, metrology, engineering, capital projects, asset management, and reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Team Management: Lead teams across facilities, validation, metrology, engineering, capital projects, asset management, and reliability-centered maintenance, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, operation, and optimization of company facilities, including laboratories, production areas, and administrative spaces, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Validation and Metrology: Direct the development of validation strategies, protocols, and documentation for systems, equipment, and processes, ensuring validation activities meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Engineering and Capital Projects: Oversee engineering projects related to the design, installation, and commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring engineering activities follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations.
  • Asset Management and Reliability: Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize the value and lifespan of company assets, manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability, and develop reliability-centered maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Financial Management: Manage annual budgets for facilities, validation, metrology, engineering, capital projects, asset management, and reliability-centered maintenance, monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring allocation of resources.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all facilities and systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, develop safety protocols and emergency response plans, and conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; Master's degree.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in facilities management, validation, metrology, engineering, capital projects, asset management, and reliability-centered maintenance, with significant experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Experience managing complex projects and operations, knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements, and ability to develop and implement strategic goals and programs.
