Disability insurance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises program managers and supervisors. Implements and ensures all licensing and agency standards are being met. Collects all pertinent data and provide written reports as requested. Provides direct support to all Directors of Youth and Residential Services. Participates in on-going staff trainings as requested. Creates and updates as needed policies on safety and risk management, such as fire drills, evaluation procedures, etc. Ensures that all mechanical safety systems are functioning and up to date, including electronic surveillance, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, etc. Maintains all appropriate documentation, including state fire marshal reports, annual sprinkler test reports, etc. Immediately addresses any potential risk or hazardous conditions. On call duties will include carrying an Agency cell phone and responding to crisis situations 24 hours a day. Reacts to change productively and perform other duties that may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinate supervisors of all YRS programs and provide support to those supervisors in managing their direct care staff. The Associate Director is part of a management team that is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all YRS programs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems for both employees and program participants. Qualifications:

This position is on-site. Work Environment: The employee may be required to remain on Organization premises during breaks and/or meal periods and may be required to stay on Organization premises until their replacement arrives. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, they may be occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high. Physical Demands: Ability to stand 90% of the time. Required to regularly walk, stoop, kneel, and climb. Required to regularly use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift/move 40 lbs., independently, and up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Required to work regularly with sharp objects.
