Our Director Of Sales is responsible for:
  • Member of the Leadership Team. Assisting in the development of company strategic plans and issue resolution.
  • Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Monitoring customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts
  • Resolving escalated customer satisfaction issues
  • Directing and motivating team, holding team accountable to core values, directing safety initiatives, overseeing training & development, providing performance evaluations
  • Forecasting and establishing sales goals and budget
  • Following organizational operating processes, including moderation of reoccurring team meetings, and reviewing agendas from team members' meetings
  • Promoting efficient and effective use of company technology and resources
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to achieve sales goals
  • Developing, managing and nurturing new business partnerships and accounts to accomplish volume and profit goals
  • Assisting the accounting department with receivables collection as needed
  • Attending sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, regulations, and products in the marketplace
  • Enforcing company policies
  • Achieving business and organizational goals, visions, and objectives
  • Identifying problems and providing alternative courses of action for resolution

Requirements
  • Aligns with the core values of BPS
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 10+ yrs. experience in Sales Management desired
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision-makers
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability through company insurer
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Above average math skills; able to calculate discounts, gross profit, and percentages
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Capable of preserving confidential and sensitive material
  • Good organizational skills and ability to focus on multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Computer skills to include MS Office products, Power BI, CRM, Communication and Collaboration Tools, Social Media, Cybersecurity Awareness, LMS, and Project Management Tools
  • Must positively represent the company at all times including a professional appearance
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends; moderate travel
  • Must be able to pass a background check and periodic drug screens and license checks
