Washington, United States Mindlance Full time

Client: Non-Profit/Insurance Title: Senior Research Analyst/Data Research Analyst/Market Research Analyst/GIS Specialist/Geographic Information Specialist Location: Remote (United States) Duration: 18 Months Job Description: We are interested in someone who is quick at learning and nimble in switching between different projects. A good candidate would work fast and pay attention to detail. Data analysis skills are primary – we are not necessarily looking for someone who has lots of advanced analytics skills (although those are welcome) but someone with experience using large public use/government data sets is a must. We do not need someone who has deep technical GIS skills necessarily but they must have a basic understanding and a desire or willingness to learn how this works so that we can assign them such work. Of all the software, SPSS is a must; however, that is what we primarily use and we’d need that person to use this as well. Students in fields like demography, population studies, sociology, data science, or marketing research are often good fits with these skills. A candidate who loves data and loves to find patterns in it. Analytical Skills: At least 5 years of public opinion or market research experience required. Must have a good grasp of research. Experience with questionnaire design required. Must be able to edit and fact-check reports. Strong analytical skills required. Can apply logical understanding of the numbers and interpret meaning. Proven ability to create a data story preferred. Comfortable with quantitative data, proficient with cross-tabs and/or basic data descriptive. Experience with qualitative methods is a plus. Knowledge areas of one or more of our audiences (Hispanics, AA/B, Asian Americans, Veterans, LGBTQ+, People with Disabilities) would be a plus. Software Skills: Strong SPSS skills required. Experience working with large datasets preferred. ArcMap/ArcGIS Online experience required. Tableau experience not required but will be highly valued. Adept with Microsoft Office software including Excel and Teams. “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.” #J-18808-Ljbffr
