About the Position

We are currently in search of a Research Professional to collaborate with our acquisitions and asset management divisions. This role will provide essential support for market analysis, property evaluation, and leasing strategies. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are keen to expand their knowledge and contribute to a forward-thinking organization poised for expansion. This position is full-time and will be based in our Maryland office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the expanding Industrial Outdoor Storage sector.
  • Identify applicable IOS zoning classifications within target areas by examining local regulations and use categories.
  • Gather, organize, and uphold the accuracy of vital data within our proprietary deal management system.
  • Work closely with the acquisitions team to monitor significant details regarding sales and lease rates at IOS locations nationwide.
  • Identify tenants seeking additional space in targeted markets.
  • Assist in the underwriting process for potential deals and support leasing efforts for properties under management.
  • Provide management with pipeline metrics to inform strategic planning.
  • Support the asset management team with critical data for quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Monitor market trends through various industry publications, reports, and announcements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in researching property details and ownership.
  • Basic understanding of land use and zoning laws.
  • Familiarity with research databases such as Costar or Loopnet.
  • Experience with GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS is advantageous.
  • Strong self-motivation and excellent time management abilities.
