The Summer Associate role at Cornerstone Research presents an exceptional opportunity for candidates pursuing doctoral studies in finance, economics, econometrics, accounting, or marketing to gain practical experience over a six to twelve-week period. This position is structured to replicate the experience of a first-year Associate, encompassing case assignments and formal training.
Summer Associates collaborate closely with senior personnel, clients, and experts to establish objectives, steer research initiatives, manage timelines, and mentor junior team members.
Typical daily tasks include aiding in the formulation of project strategies, conducting in-depth research, directing analytical efforts, interpreting and summarizing data and findings, and proposing effective solutions to challenges encountered by their teams.
This role offers a valuable chance for doctoral candidates to leverage their theoretical and empirical research skills acquired through advanced studies to develop and implement innovative and rigorous analytical strategies addressing compelling real-world issues.
