  • Foster a culture of continuous process improvement, continually seeking to streamline and improve processes.   • Serve as a business owner of the accounting system and system implementation. Accounting Manager will ensure the continued automation of key accounting processes with the goal of improved quality, more timely delivery, and reduced expense.
  • Maintain and constantly evaluate the company's financial processes, systems, policies and procedures - anticipate, develop, and maintain robust, scalable accounting capabilities to support the company's growth with a strong focus on continuous improvements and ease and speed of integration. Assure annual and as-needed update of policy authorization levels (e.g., for purchasing, check / ACH payments, travel limits, etc.).
  • Develop and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence tools to improve financial reporting accuracy & efficiency, and fraud detection
  • Administer training of US GAAP updates to financial accounting staff as needed
  • Review of externally prepared long-term incentive plan statements

Qualifications:
  • Successful, relevant senior financial management experience coupled with exceptional track record in partnering with business teams to drive results
  • Finance or Accounting degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and a CPA, MACC a plus.
  • Prior experience in international consolidation (GAAP compliant)
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Sage Intacct a plus.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements.
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence tools related to financial reporting accuracy and fraud detection a plus.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Merger and acquisition experience (M&A accounting, accounting process integration, systems integration)
  • Data driven, analytical approach to problem solving leading to systemic improvements and lasting results. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement is an advantage. Working knowledge of lean principles applied in an accounting process setting is a plus.
