Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? As a Strategic Account Specialist at Spectrum Enterprise, you'll have the opportunity to work with government and education clients to help them select the best fiber-based networking and managed solutions for their needs.

With our award-winning training program, you'll gain the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. You'll work closely with clients to understand their complex technology needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

As a Strategic Account Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with government, K-12, and university clients to highlight the benefits of our telecommunications products
  • Providing dedicated account management and proactively pursuing new clients through email campaigns, cold calling, discovery calls, appointment setting, and client presentations
  • Traveling to client sites to manage field sales activities and identify target markets, industries, and contacts to expand our product portfolio
  • Encouraging client retention through coordinated efforts with multiple internal teams

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of sales experience as a proven sales performer
  • Three or more years of outside telecommunications-related sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Network building, negotiation, closing, and interpersonal English communication skills
  • Quick learner, deadline-driven, and able to multitask
  • Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in B2B sales selling data, voice, cloud, or video solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working with state and local government or education
