About You:

Develop Strategy for customer management of the US in all QR services provided to contribute to its future success.

Contribute to overall QR Cargo formulation and implementation of sales strategy to maximize short and long term revenue opportunities.

Leads concerned unit sections (Pharma, Perishables and Postal Service) to strategically develop accounts in the Americas.

Structure and implement business and market plan to optimize QR presence and revenue in the assigned region.

Plan, direct and control selling and marketing activities of the region and penetrate the regional market to secure new sources of revenue.

Responsible for sales and marketing of the mail transportation account to the US Postal Service in the USA in order to optimize mail revenue for Qatar Airways.

Analyze operational effectiveness, productivity and business continuity through the setting, review and control of sectional revenue.

Qualifications

Preferred:

Degree in Marketing and Sales

Minimum 7 years relevant experience.

Minimum 5 years in Airfreight Sales Management.

Knowledge of cargo operations.

Air Cargo management experience with a major airline or freight forwarder.

Command of the English Language.

Commercial acumen and ability to spot market and industry trends.

Commercial and analytical skills: Statistical analysis, research methodology; interpretation of data.

Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational level

Marketing and Management Skills

Complete product knowledge and the Market Practices of the areas under jurisdiction.

Proficiency of computer applications

Knowledge of IATA chapter 17 Regulations.

Knowledge of GDP regulations

Leadership and interpersonal skills

Managerial skills - ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.

Strong mentoring and coaching skills.

Ability to train and develop subordinates skills.

Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
