Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the Calypso business within the Great Lakes Area. The main tasks are achieving volume, distribution, and pricing targets across both On and Off-Premises channels. This role involves fostering strong relationships with wholesalers and regional retail customers while providing leadership to a Business Development Specialist or Area Sales Manager to facilitate business growth. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales budgets, executing programs to drive distribution and volume, and overseeing wholesaler inventory to meet year-end Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The RSM's efforts are crucial in ensuring the continued expansion and profitability of the brand within their designated territory.
Requirements:* A minimum of 3-5 years in the beverage or food industry
* 50-75% travel
* Prefer strong knowledge of how wholesalers operate and what triggers share of mind
* Strong key account negotiation skills
* Good knowledge of the art and science of wholesale programming and pricing
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to direct the Company brands
* Entrepreneurial mind-mind set and willing to be very "hands-on" to get the job accomplished
* Action-oriented, focused, individual who needs little direction or supervision, energy and enthusiasm and critical
* Ability to function effectively in an intimate, entrepreneurial business environment
* Excellent planner and organizer
* Excellent communicator, with an ability to influence at multiple levels across organizations with varying levels of sophistication
* Existing relationships with wholesaler management at plus
* Financially responsible individual who knows how to manage budgets
* Navigate Excel, Word, and Power Point.
