Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team, dedicated to supporting financial operations in a Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the revenue cycle management processes and experience in analyzing both existing and proposed services for cost-reimbursed providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and evaluate the revenue cycle of existing and proposed healthcare services, focusing on cost-reimbursement models.

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to ensure optimal reimbursement, identify areas of underperformance and propose improvements.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to understand service implications on the revenue cycle.

Develop and maintain reporting systems for tracking revenue, reimbursement rates, denials, and other key financial metrics.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly those affecting Rural Health Clinics and Critical Access Hospitals.

Manage projects related to revenue cycle and participate in planning sessions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle management, with specific experience in cost-reimbursed healthcare environments.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including those specific to Rural Health Clinics and Critical Access Hospitals.
