Settlements Analyst

Overview:

The Settlements Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the precision and timeliness of financial transactions related to both receivables and payables within the organization. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and prompt posting of invoices associated with cargo and non-cargo financial activities.
• Review and validate supporting documentation against system entries, addressing any discrepancies as necessary.
• Oversee the effective management of company receivables and vendor obligations.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to resolve issues related to outstanding financial queries.

Key Duties:

• Reconcile vendor accounts by reviewing monthly statements for accuracy.
• Address vendor inquiries regarding payment of invoices.
• Generate and distribute reminder notices and monthly statements to relevant parties.
• Monitor and report on monthly Key Performance Indicators for the settlements function.
• Engage with external stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fields such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong skills in MS Office and accounting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
