The Service Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate and on-time record-keeping relative to the Service Department's operations. This individual will perform functions to support the work order process, including but not limited to ensuring that all charges related to work orders are posted properly and closed on a timely basis. The Service Coordinator will process warranty and product improvement claims and handle communication with customers in a professional manner.

Job Functions: o Will provide administrative support to the entirety of the Service Department in the day-to-day processing of related paperwork required such as work orders, billings, proposals, purchase orders, reports, etc. o Prepare and proof documents and correspondence, including work orders, letters, memos, faxes, transmittals, reports, submittals, requests for information, and purchase orders as needed. o Maintain accurate database of all service-related files and logs for document control and management. o Track and update logs for estimates, change orders, submittals, equipment releases, requests for information and operation and maintenance manuals. o Maintain customer equipment database and contract renewals. o Follow-up with service roofing technicians to make sure their work orders are opened and closed properly. o Research information requests. o Schedule and coordinate meetings or appointments as needed. o Communicate with service roofing technicians and provide them with paperwork required in the field. o Fill requests from service roofing technicians for forms and needed supplies. o Make copies and prints or send out to be processed as needed. o Prepare operation and maintenance manuals prior to completion of small service projects as needed. o Assist on close-out paperwork for projects. o Work independently as well as within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing service projects. o Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. o Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. Requirements: o Must possess a minimum of three (3) years recent facilities services administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry. o Excellent Microsoft skills, preferably MS Office (Word and Excel), experience working with Outlook for e-mails, scheduling, etc. is a plus. o Must possess excellent communication skills, customer service skills to serve both internal and external customers. o Outstanding organizational skills, excellent time management, and the ability to multi-task in a fastpaced high-volume environment. Service Coordinator 2/2024 o Ability to maintain flexible and positive attitude towards assignments. o A track record of taking the initiative, establishing priorities, and ownership of work performed is essential. o Effective problem-solving ability to research and resolve issues with positive results. o Must exhibit attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement. o Overall, this role will support a cooperative team climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity. o Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus. o Commercial Roofing Service preferred Tecta offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, etc. #LI-SC1 Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
