Facilities Services Coordinator Overview: 

The Facilities Services Coordinator will provide the Maintenance Team, residents, vendors, and staff with administrative support to ensure successful completion of maintenance-related work orders, resident inquiries, and larger projects at College Housing Northwest (CHNW) communities. You will assist in planning and organizing department resources such as scheduling, record keeping, vendor/resource management, supply ordering, and inspections. This role collaborates with community staff to provide a supportive environment where students can thrive, while providing thoughtful, friendly, and thorough customer service.

Snapshot of Facilities Services Coordinator Duties:

Support and assist the Facilities Manager with prioritizing, managing, and overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities and projects Coordinate with internal maintenance staff and vendors to ensure that entire scope of cleaning, maintenance and on-call afterhours work is prioritized and accomplished  Monitor vendor performance and collects quotes for services Conduct periodic inspections to determine scope of maintenance work required  Monitor maintenance parts, tools and equipment inventory to manage and order inventory Assist with scheduling annual inspections, alarm systems tests, and similar Stay knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act on emergency situations appropriately Assist in scheduling and training of new employees, including some timecard management and collaboration in scheduling  Maintain compliance records and other documentation Attend team in-service meetings and stay informed of changes in regulations, policies and emergency procedures

Facilities Services Coordinator Requirements:

A college degree is not required for this position; CHNW is supportive of all stages of education for this role A degree is a plus Previous maintenance-related or OSHA-type certifications are a plus Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups  Must have good general technology knowledge (computers, cell phones, scanners, printers, etc.) 2-4 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or similar role Experience in housing, real estate, or property management preferred
