As our Regional Sales Manager, you will drive new Private Services sales within assigned Federal DOD accounts (Army, Airforce, Marines, Navy), meeting the wireless connectivity needs at bases within the Northeast Region. You'll own relationships, prospecting, and proposal flow - including business case modeling for Private Services. Act as the liaison between various internal departments (Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal) from contracting through post-sales needs. Success in this role requires the ability to translate the needs of the DOD, and its adjacent businesses into the various internal functional groups to leverage our products and solutions for those that need connectivity to enhance their wireless capabilities. Travel regularly to meet with existing and potential clients within the Northeast region - about 40%-50%.

Responsibilities

Drive Private Services sales (Wi-Fi Systems and Install, Managed Wi-Fi, IoT, Bandwidth and Custom Solutions) to assigned Federal DOD targets Develop keen relationships with customer targets Network with Field Operations and Subscriber Marketing teams who are on Base to meet key stakeholders and drive referral opportunities Exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales quota goals Forecasting for Private services sales within assigned sales Region Gather business and technical requirements necessary to build and expand Boingo solutions, and route them to appropriate internal group(s) Develop & prepare proposals to gain new account sales through prospecting new opportunities or through RFP request Communicate & Present to senior management new opportunities, sales forecast and customer needs Provide a single point of contact for commercial and military entities on the bases that Boingo serves

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of Sales or Account Management experience in technology sales Government Military, Federal, State and Local or Education sales experience is a plus Hunter mentality, results and goal driven, ambition to exceed quotas, driven to grow within the company into other roles Closer, ability to get the business Sound customer relationship building skills Working knowledge of wireless technologies and the telecommunication industry & landscape Willing to travel within your region 40%-50%
