Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the automotive care industry or a willingness to learn. The Sales Manager will build and lead a team of sales representatives, build and maintain relationships with key clients, and collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, promotions, and campaigns that drive sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed goals.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote Undrdog’s products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive or car care industry but not required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
