Medical Training Specialist - Noblesville, IN

Hybrid Position - In-Person/Remote

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive whole health services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

Training and professional development is one way our organization shows it cares about our staff and clients. We want our staff prepared to pursue excellence. The Medical Training Specialist shall assist in the development and implementation of new and existing training for medical staff with an emphasis on medical assistants, nurses, primary care providers, and psychiatric care providers. This position is also responsible for tracking training requirements and administering required training via the use of the Relias Learning Management System. The Medical Training Specialist will lead portions of orientation for all new hires, implement training on the electronic health record, provide onsite elbow training, and pursue and develop CE training experiences for medical staff.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, community health, or a directly-related human service field from a college/university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Community Health Work (CHW) highly preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of directly related equivalent experience/competencies in a CMHC/FQHC setting highly preferred
  • Experience as a training facilitator in a medical setting highly preferred
  • Experience in Athena highly preferred
