Position Title: Industrial Steel Sales Specialist

Job Summary:

The Industrial Steel Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in expanding our market presence within the steel industry. This position is essential for fostering relationships with clients and driving sales growth in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored solutions to clients by promptly addressing their requirements, which leads to the enhancement and expansion of customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain enduring business relationships through direct, face-to-face engagement with clients.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to evaluate and fulfill client needs using our comprehensive range of products and services.
  • Conduct customer sales visits, evaluate client requirements, prepare quotations, finalize orders, and ensure follow-up on all related tasks.
  • Manage assigned accounts effectively while establishing strong connections with both new and existing clients.
  • Proactively inform clients about available products by anticipating their needs and introducing innovative offerings.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Morrell products by participating in relevant training sessions to improve sales and presentation skills.
  • Encourage a collaborative team atmosphere by supporting colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace while optimizing space utilization.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Product Knowledge: Familiarity with product and solution technologies, including but not limited to: Motion Control, Power Transmission, Safety Sensors, Vision Systems, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the steel industry.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the steel mill sector.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
  • Exceptional customer relations and sales skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledgeable in fluid dynamics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to provide suitable customer solutions.
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of technical concepts.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
