Director, Brand Strategy (Pharma Agency)

As Director, Brand Strategy, you are adept at developing targeted, transformative insights that fuel brand strategies, tactical initiatives, and behavior-changing creative campaigns. In this position, you will analyze research, trends, and data to gain a deep understanding of the target audiences’ behaviors and motivators. Armed with an understanding of each audience’s journey, and a solid knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing landscape, you will help deliver innovative approaches designed to strengthen the relationship between physicians and patients. As an engaging storyteller and critical thinker, you will work collaboratively within the strategy team as well as with the account, creative, and scientific teams to produce strategic recommendations that lead to significant brand results. What you'll do

Analyze and participate in qualitative and quantitative research relating to audience (HCP), brand, competitive, and promotional channels to derive meaningful insights With oversight from Strategy leads, build strategy maps, brand maps, and brand ladders, articulate insights and promises, and develop personas, as well as build out customer journeys and ecosystems Monitor competitive and social trends, their impact on target attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and research data Work with strategy team, account leads, and creative directors to create tight, inspiring creative briefs and translate brand insights into ideas Clearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams, clients, and prospective clients Assist senior team members in the development and facilitation of workshops using strategic tools and frameworks About you

Bachelor's degree in related field (eg. Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics); Masters degree ideal 8+ years strategic planning experience in a healthcare/pharma advertising agency environment Experience with HCP and patient marketing, including pharma brand launch Experience utilizing strategic tools for analysis Experience co-facilitating client workshops Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
