JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Procurement Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the management of IT assets, coordinating with third-party vendors, supporting accounts payable processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This entry-level position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Facilitates the purchase of IT hardware and software by coordinating with third-party vendors
  • Works closely with accounts payable personnel in the coding and payment of IT purchases.
  • Provides basic information to management to determine the status of assets.
  • Interacts with the Help Desk team, Infrastructure & Operations team, and internal customers receiving new IT equipment.
  • Ensures that returned products under warranty are documented and prepared for repair or refurbishment in accordance with product warranties.
  • Assists in ensuring compliance with the test, repair, and inspection of repaired PCs and related equipment.
  • Supports inventory management for required materials, products, parts, and supplies to achieve daily customer service needs.
  • Orders support consumable supplies and materials as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma preferred, with a strong interest in continuing education.
  • 0-2 years of experience in IT asset management or related experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURES, AND LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • N/A


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Handling of average weight objects up to 15 pounds; occasional standing or walking; frequently at a keyboard, workstation, or desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
