About This Role
We are embarking on an exciting journey to redefine the future of wireless connectivity, and we invite you to join us. As we establish the USA 5G Smart Factory, we are seeking a SMA Production Process Specialist to design, implement, and uphold efficient, ergonomic, and safe production, claims, and repair processes, along with the necessary equipment and tools in accordance with surface mount assembly production standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the introduction and programming of machinery for new product launches (NPIs) and product transitions (TPIs).
  • Work closely with the R&D Unit to address producibility concerns.
  • Collaborate with other Ericsson manufacturing facilities.
  • Partner with the Quality Engineering team to ensure product adherence to industry regulations (e.g., IPC-A-610).
  • Develop and revise process-related documentation.
  • Deliver training on new processes for Production maintenance staff.
  • Engage in Product and Production verification activities.
  • Procure equipment, tools, and instruments for new processes.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers.
  • Continuously explore and apply new technologies and methodologies to enhance SMA line efficiency and capabilities.
  • Participate as a member of cross-functional teams to optimize all facets of the SMA process.
Your Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SMA manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with at least two of the following: Lasermark, Printer, Automated Dispenser SPI, AOI, Reflow Oven, Automated Router.
  • Strong critical thinking, innovative mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Experience in data analysis is advantageous.
This position reports to the SMA Engineering Manager.
