Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Construction Supervisor to become a vital part of our team. The Construction Supervisor will be tasked with managing and coordinating the daily activities of our railing installation projects. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction sector, particularly in railing installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct a team of railing installers, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Organize and plan daily operations, delegating tasks to team members and providing clear guidance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to review project specifications, blueprints, and schedules.
  • Track project progress, identifying and resolving any challenges that may hinder timely completion.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies on job sites, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of work areas to guarantee that quality standards are upheld and craftsmanship is of the highest caliber.
  • Mentor and train new team members, offering insights on installation methods and best practices.
  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address project-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Keep accurate records of project activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and workforce hours.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor in the construction field, ideally with a focus on railing installation.
  • In-depth knowledge of railing systems and installation practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a knack for motivating and guiding a team effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior workmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly utilized in railing installation.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
