Our products range from self-care items and artisan chocolates to bespoke candles and jewelry. We cater to individual style profiles and body types, making us a destination for fashion-savvy moms and busy professionals. Our mission is to provide exceptional experiences through creativity, innovation, and outstanding customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
**Management & Human Resources**:
Manage recruitment, hiring, and firing processes.
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and regulations.
Oversee payroll and basic bookkeeping.
Maintain and update training materials and company policies.
Conduct audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Oversee merch team and work with store management.
**Policies & Procedures**:
Maintain all training materials and update company policies as needed.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
**Merchandise**:
Oversee the merchandise team and ensure smooth merchandise flow within the company.
Ensure timely shipping and correct packaging of online orders.
Assist the merchandise team as needed to keep stores fully stocked.
Assist with merchandising floor as needed.
**Sales**:
Serve as the floor manager when the Store Manager is unavailable.
Ensure all sales programs are followed and executed properly.
Assist on sales floor when needed - will be fully sales trained as customer service is our #1 priority.
**Scheduling**:
Oversee the scheduling for the merchandise team.
Provide final sign-off on schedules.
Assist with call outs and schedule changes.
First in line to deal with store emergencies.
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience in retail operations management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Experience with payroll and basic bookkeeping.
Ability to oversee merchandise and sales operations effectively.
This is a high-growth opportunity, so we are looking for someone that wants a long-term career with Thread + Seed. Must have management, retail sales, payroll and stocking experience to qualify. Travel between shops. Based out of our HQ office which is currently in Banker's Hill, San Diego but will move to La Jolla area when new flagship store opens.
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
