Northrop Grumman Defense Systems’ C4 Missile Defense Business Unit has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager of Business Development. This position reports to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include**:

- Manage business development activities at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) to generate leads, create / shape and prioritize new business opportunities to achieve the growth goals of the operating unit
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing an APG customer engagement strategy and senior customer visit plan for military, government, and industry leadership
- Collaborate with adjacent Northrop Grumman offices on growth strategies and develop inputs for the broader sector and corporate strategy
- Manage the operating unit’s pipeline and market data
- Prioritize and develop (with team support) marketing content for the operating unit
- Act as primary Aberdeen Proving Ground contact for key operating unit customer DOD program offices
- Interface with the business unit and division team and assure alignment of priorities

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience related to Department of Defense (DoD) business, programs, or operational experience
- Experience working with APG and the program offices located there
- Business development, strategy, capture, or program management experience
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition, requirements, and budget policies and processes
- Active DoD Secret Clearance

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in business or related field
- Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) domain, program, or operational experience
- 20 years of experience related to Department of Defense (DoD) programs
- Actively involved in industry groups, such as AFCEA and AUSA
- Knowledgeable in Customer Relationships Management (CRM) tools (e.g. Salesforce)
- Active Top Secret clearance

**Salary Range**:$153,000 - $229,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
