Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Capture Management and Business Development to lead our business development efforts and drive growth in the Army domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of capturing new business and developing and executing successful capture plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute capture plans to maximize win probability with Army customers
  • Direct and manage multiple pursuits simultaneously, including teaming and price to win strategies
  • Provide support to the Army Business Group (ABG) in areas such as systems, products, and software engineering
  • Work with experts from our solutions teams to integrate the best components from our portfolio and partner ecosystem to deliver innovative solutions
  • Develop and execute customer engagement plans to reinforce win strategies and shape deals towards SAIC's strengths
  • Conduct and participate in internal gate requirements, pricing, teaming, and capture reviews
  • Manage opportunity validation and maturation to assist SAIC in determining pursue/no pursue and bid/no bid decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated ability and reputation of winning complex, prime services or engineering contract awards for government with values routinely reaching over $75M single-award deals
  • Experience utilizing various contract vehicles
  • Experience in business development capture activities and leading captures for large programs
  • Demonstrable understanding of federal procurement acquisition process, contract types, and payment types
  • Experienced and confident working with senior and executive management within the company and with key federal customers

Clearance and Travel

  • U.S. Citizen with or able to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Up to 25% travel
