**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

- As an Administrative Officer 2, you will help support BOL’s mission of testing to identify both infectious and non-infectious diseases and conditions for the purposes of aiding patient care and improving public health in Pennsylvania. In this position, you will develop and implement policies and procedures for procurement, materials receipt, inventory management, shipping, and human resources functions. You can expect to manage the procurement of laboratory instruments, equipment, supplies, and other items used for BOL activities. You will also oversee the establishment of contracts for necessary materials and services with assistance from various staff and ensure the contracts are monitored and renewed as necessary. Additionally, you will utilize an inventory management system to keep track of supplies being used.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week after completing training benchmarks. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Exton.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as an Administrative Officer 1;_ _**or**:

- Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree;_ _**or**:

- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- This particular position also requires possession of a valid PA Driver's License.
