**Main Purpose of Job**:
The primary role of this full-time position will be to provide ongoing supervision for Family Support Specialists, Family Resource Specialists, and/or other support staff working in Early Care Programs. This position will provide intensive home visiting to pregnant women and children up to five years of age through the Healthy Families Garrett County home visiting program. Program goals include improving birth outcomes, cultivating nurturing parent child relationships, promoting optimal child health and developmental outcomes, promoting family stability, and building foundations for strong family functioning.

The position will support and supervise staff providing direct services to families. This is accomplished through the provision of ongoing education and promotion of positive health practices as well as conducting assessments and providing referrals in collaboration with other health professionals and community agencies. Service provision is geared towards supporting family and children's optimal health, nutrition, safety, and development.

Infant mental health endorsement is preferred, but not required.

Experience with reflective practice is preferred, but not required.

Job Duties are directed toward assuring quality service delivery with home visiting services. Knowledge of and/or expertise in providing home based services preferred.

In addition, general and reflective supervision sessions will be provided from the Early Care Program Director to promote continued growth with the program.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

**Experience**: Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.

**Notes**:
**DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience with reflective practice.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in providing homebound services.
