Make an impact in healthcare and grow your career with Team AgilitiThe Biomedical Equipment Technician III - COE primarily works at an assigned location, conducting cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and meet customers' needs. Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.What You Will Need for This RoleAn associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology. Alternative qualifications include Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).Subject matter expertise in a specialized equipment area, e.g., anesthesia, imaging, network-smart technology, respiratory, sterilizers and excellent understanding of service programs and contractual obligations.Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.The ability to provide technical training to other employees in areas such as equipment operation, check-out procedures, preventive maintenance, repair, quality management and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) practices, procedures and documentation.The ability to temporarily supervise other biomedical personnel and other employees.The ability to travel a minimum of 30% annually, including overnight extended stay, to support business' needs.Willingness to help with Field based biomedical accounts and support Inventory projects and customer implementations.Must maintain proper credentialing and vaccinations to work within customer locations.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.What Skills You Will Use in This RoleIt is the policy of Agiliti to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information, marital status, status as a veteran, military service, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local civil rights laws.
